How does a tankless water heater work compared to traditional water heater?

In another instance a push button can be installed at a perticular fixture, so all you have to do is push the button wait a couple of seconds and you have instant hot water at that fixture.

An average tank weater heater has a lifespan of 8-10 years, whereas a tankless water heater can last 2-3 times longer.
